It�s official. Luck and opportunity have crossed paths, and their intersection was right here in Germany. Michelle has confirmed a six-month internship position with the European office of Sony, and, in a case of monstrous coincidence, Sony�s head office happens to be only a few kilometres from my apartment here in Cologne. We�re both pretty happy, and to celebrate we decided to play hosts to a typical Canadian experience, the pancake breakfast! I had brought back two precious litres of maple syrup and had once promised to make a real Canadian meal for my colleagues here in the office. So, one Sunday morning in January we gathered in the office kitchen and feasted on a delicious stereotype.
